Install guide
Set up on stable Wi-Fi before your trip so your data is ready when you land.
Step 1 — Check your phone
Your phone must be unlocked and eSIM-ready. If it's locked to one carrier, a travel plan may not work on it. Check compatibility first.
Step 2 — Install the eSIM (before you fly)
- Open your confirmation email — your QR code or setup details are there.
- Go to your phone's cellular or mobile data settings and choose Add eSIM.
- Scan the QR code and label the new line RoamNope.
- Check the eSIM appears in your phone settings before you close the screen.
Menu wording varies by phone — your setup instructions explain it. Don't delete the eSIM profile unless instructions or support say to; reinstall rules vary.
Step 3 — Connect when you arrive
- Set Mobile Data to your RoamNope line.
- Turn Data Roaming on for the RoamNope line — that's how a travel eSIM connects.
- Keep Data Roaming off on your home SIM so it doesn't roam on your usual carrier.
Pre-flight checklist
Phone unlocked and eSIM-ready? Destination selected and plan bought? Setup details saved? eSIM installed? Arrival steps understood? If any answer is no, sort it before the airport.
