Is my phone compatible with eSIM?

Most newer smartphones from Apple (iPhone XS and later), Samsung (S20 and later), and Google (Pixel 3 and later) are compatible. Important: Your phone must be carrier-unlocked to use our eSIMs.

When should I install my eSIM?

We recommend installing your eSIM before your flight or at the airport while you still have a strong Wi-Fi connection. You will need an internet connection to complete the installation process.

When will I receive my QR code?

Your eSIM QR code is delivered by email within 2-3 minutes after payment.

If you do not see it, check your junk or spam folder before contacting support.

What does carrier-unlocked mean?

A carrier-unlocked phone can use SIMs or eSIMs from networks other than the one that sold the phone to you. If your device is locked, the eSIM may install but will not connect to the local network.

Troubleshooting

How do I activate my eSIM?

Once installed, go to your phone settings and turn on the new eSIM line. Crucial Step: You must also enable 'Data Roaming' for this specific eSIM line in your cellular settings to connect to the local network.

I have no signal, what do I do?

  1. Check that 'Data Roaming' is ON for your eSIM line.
  2. Toggle Airplane mode ON for 10 seconds, then OFF.
  3. Restart your phone to force a network refresh.
  4. Ensure you are in a coverage area and the eSIM is selected as your Mobile Data line.

How do I contact support?

Email support@roamnope.travel. Usually within 24 hours.

Include your order email, destination, phone model, and the issue you are seeing.

What if it still does not work when I land?

  1. Confirm the eSIM line is switched on.
  2. Set it as your mobile data line.
  3. Turn on data roaming for the eSIM.
  4. Toggle airplane mode or restart your phone.
  5. Email support if it still fails so we can check the setup with you.

Can I keep my WhatsApp number?

Yes! You can continue using your primary number for WhatsApp, iMessage, and FaceTime. Your eSIM will handle the data connection, allowing you to stay connected without roaming fees.

Can I share data (Hotspot)?

Yes, most of our plans support personal hotspot/tethering, allowing you to share your data connection with your laptop or travel companions.

What is the refund policy?

Refunds are normally reviewed for unused eSIMs only. Please read our refund policy before you buy.
